Ianis Hagi, 23, has an exciting 2022-23 campaign to look forward to. We are still not even halfway through the current sseason and there are five important clubs who want to get hold of his services. They are Sevilla, Roma, Lyon, Aston Villa and Galatasaray. The 'Daily Record' reported about interest from the last three while Sevilla and Roma's interest was already known.
At the moment, none of the clubs have tried to make progress to sign him. There is just over a month to go until the January transfer window opens so the five clubs, fully aware of the competition they face, could make advances soon.
Villa's main argument for buying Hagi is the presence of Steven Gerrard, The now Aston Villa manager was the Rangers boss until very recently. Hagi said he loved being managed by Gerrard and so a simple phone call could be enough to persuade him to move to the Midlands.
Galatasaray usually attract great talents by splashing the cash and if Ianis Hagi is offered a large amount of money, Turkey could be the solution. Trying his luck in Ligue 1 with Lyon is also an option, but he is just focussing on Rangers for now.
