Barcelona booked their place in the Champions League final after winning by one goal both in Munich and at the Mini Estadi. They also kept a clean sheet in both legs.
The Catalan side went into the final of the Women's Champions League thanks to Mariona's goal from the penalty spot just before the end of the first half. Hamraoui scored in the first leg and Barcelona progressed 2-0 on aggregate.
The semi-final between Lyon and Chelsea was much tighter. The French side won 2-1 at home and Chelsea were unable to overturn the deficit at home after being held to a 1-1 draw. Lyon won the tie 3-2 on aggregate.
The three goals in the first leg were scored through Eriksson in her own net, Henry and Cuthbert. Le Sommer gave Lyon the lead in the second leg and equalled Camille Abily's record of 42 Champions League goals while So-Yeon netted for Chelsea.
A tight victory which puts Lyon in their eighth Champions League final with a Le Sommer who is looking to become the tournament's highest ever goalscorer. She is a legend for the French club.
Looking ahead to the final, Lyon are the clear favourites since they are looking to win their fourth consecutive Champions League. That said, Barca has become, without any doubt, the surprise package of this season's tournament.
