Luis Enrique spoke to the media to give his views on the group Spain had got for Euro 2020. However, it was inevitable that the Robert Moreno issue would come to the fore once again.
However, he did not continue the Moreno controversy. "I'm not here to play tennis or padel. I'm here to represent Spain and I'm not interested in anything else."
'TVE' reported recently that Luis Enrique had offered Robert Moreno the chance to go with him to the Premier League and leave the Spain job. However, the coach dodged the question: "I'm not going to get into that." He was also not bothered about the fact his fallout with Moreno could divide Spain fans.
This was Luis Enrique's first official ceremony representing Spain barring his presentation: "I'm happy to be at the draw, so see people I hadn't seen for a while and I am looking forward to the Euros."
Finally, he talked about the group Spain are in which contains Sweden, Poland and the winner of play-off B. He was very cautious about his team's chances though. "Apparently it's a good draw, but we coaches are always scared and we think you can't get complacent. You have to win the matches at that will be difficult."
