Luis Diaz confirmed he joined the 'right team' at Bayern

Luis Diaz has made a flying start to life at Bayern Munich following his summer transfer from Liverpool. 

The Colombian winger, 28, has already contributed three goals and two assists in just four matches for the Bundesliga champions. At a press conference with the Colombian national team, Diaz shared his satisfaction with how smoothly the transition has gone.

"I joined the right team," he said, stressing that Bayern had provided the perfect environment for him to thrive. "It's definitely always special to play for a big club, and Bayern is one of the big clubs. They gave me an incredible welcome and treated me well."

The winger praised the atmosphere within the squad, noting how it had allowed him to integrate quickly. On the international stage, Diaz also impressed, starting in Colombia’s convincing 3-0 victory over Bolivia on Thursday, where he provided an assist. His performances suggest both Bayern and Colombia are set to benefit from his form in the months ahead.
