Luis Diaz back on track: Two goals in six minutes

Liverpool, in their penultimate test before the start of the Premier League, gave Sevilla no chance in Arne Slot's introduction to Reds fans. One man stood out above the rest: Luis Diaz, who is back after recently playing in the Copa America.

After a holiday break, the Colombian wore the Liverpool shirt and scored a brace in six minutes. After Diogo Jota's opener, the Colombian put his stamp on the game after 39 minutes.

The Portuguese opened up on the left, where his teammate was positioned. Luis Diaz took two touches and faced the Sevilla defender, who he broke before firing a superb right-footed shot past Nyland.

That was a great return for the striker, who added to his tally before the break. A quick Liverpool move and Szoboszlai, already in front of the Sevilla goalkeeper, looked for the Colombian at the far post to score into an empty net.
