However, since the start of the new Premier League season he has been in excellent form including scoring a brace against Man Utd to down the 'Red Devils' away from home in spectacular fashion.
As a reward for his performances, Moura was named Premier League player of the month for August, but it not looking to rest on his laurels.
"I need to enjoy it but also to keep working because I believe I have much more to give and I'm sure we will have a successful season because we can, and I believe in my team-mates, I believe in this club. I want to deliver much more." the Brazilian told Tottenham's official website.
