Lluis Companys Stadium poised to host Barcelona-PSG clash

Barca are yet to receive the final construction certificate and, therefore, cannot send technicians to inspect the Spotify Camp Nou to assess and approve the return to their main stadium. While this would suffice for La Liga, the task is complicated for the Champions League, which requires a minimum capacity and open seating areas. This would not yet be available in the lateral stand, hence the club is working on a Plan B.
And that, according to 'Sport', involves returning to the Lluis Companys. The club are already working in anticipation to prepare Montjuic again for a Barca fixture. The Post Malone concert panels have been removed, and the merchandising areas that the club had previously dismantled are being reinstalled.
Furthermore, the pitch is expected to arrive in the coming hours - directly from Extremadura according to 'Jijantes' - to be acclimatised again and ready for the Champions League match it would have to host: the Barcelona-Paris Saint-Germain clash on 1st October.
The club remains publicly tight-lipped about the timeframe, but it seems unlikely that the return to the Camp Nou can take place in the coming weeks.
