Napoli signed Fernando Llorente to strengthen their attack and the Spanish international is proving Ancelotti right because in less than a week he has scored his first goals as a Napoli player.
After his first goal in the Champions League, he scored his first Serie A goal. If last Tuesday he killed off the game in added time, on this occasion he put his team ahead at the Stadio Via del Mar.
Just like what happened against the Champions League holders, Llorente showed one of his great qualities as a '9': being in the right place at the right time. Milik shot with his left foot, it hit a defender and the ball landed close to Llorente who hit a left footed strike past Gabriel.
Everyone started to celebrate with Llorente, who is starting to show why they gave him the number '9' shirt. He got an assist in his first match, a goal in his first Champions League match and one in his first start for Napoli.
Shortly afterwards, five minutes before half-time, Lorenzo Insigne joined the party by scoring the second for Ancelotti's side. The small striker scored a penalty which he had to retake because the Lecce keeper had come off his line in the initial spot kick.
