Liverpool V Swansea - Preview and possible lineups

Liverpool: Captain Jordan Henderson will miss the game after damaging his right hamstring in the 3-3 draw with Arsenal last time out. Following that game, manager Jurgen Klopp confirmed that a number of players were carrying knocks but the German is expected to have an almost fully fit squad to choose from for this one. 

Swansea City: Struggling Swansea haven't had the same luck on the injury front as their more illustrious opponents, with Angel Rangel set to deputise for Kyle Naughton after the defender suffered a groin injury in the 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace at the weekend. Naughton joins Wilfried Bony (hamstring), Ki Sung-yueng (calf) and Kyle Bartley (knee ligaments) on the sidelines, whilst midfielder Leroy Fer (back) is set for a late fitness test.

"I've experienced it as a player how tough it is to go there [Anfield] - the way they play their football and press, it's high intensity football.

"But we went there in January and won in difficult circumstances when the team was low in confidence. So we go there knowing we can get a result."

"In a very difficult league, performance-wise we are really consistent so far. If we stay consistent and avoid our mistakes, we will win much more games than we lose or draw.

"We have to perform first of all and then we have to see how the other team can react."
