Liverpool have been heavily linked with the Lyon player during the past fortnight, with 'L'Equipe' recently reporting that the Reds will hold talks with him after the Champions League final.
However, Lyon's president Jean-Michel Aulas recently dismissed these rumours, claiming there had been no offers for the Frenchman. Fekir has further quelled rumours by saying he would be backing Liverpool's opponents during Saturday's Champions League final. Although he doesn't have a clear favourite, the French players in Real's line-up swing it for the attacking midfielder.
"Do I have a personal favourite between Liverpool and Real for the Champions League final? No, no really not!" he stated at a pre-World Cup training camp at Clairefontaine.
"We have two team-mates who will be playing tomorrow, Raphael Varane and Karim Benzema," he explained. "May the best team win! If Real could win we would be happy for them."
Fekir was coy when asked about his future at Lyon, saying his focus is on France and the World Cup right now. "For now I am in Clairefontaine," he insisted. "Games are coming and I really don't have my situation on my mind."
"I will let things happen but nothing is done. I have to talk with [Lyon president] Jean-Michel Aulas and we'll see what happens next."
