A team of American doctors asserted on Monday that the German suffered a concussion during May's final following a collision with Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos.
Later on in the game, Karius infamously made two costly howlers as his side slipped to a 3-1 defeat.
However, with the news that Karius may not have been in a fit state when those errors occurred, one fan has taken it on himself to get the game replayed and Ramos, who was also involved as Mohamed Salah suffered an injury, banned.
The fan in question started a petition, with the matter to be debated in parliament if it reaches 250,000 signatures.

It seems more than unlikely that UEFA will take any notice of the move, let alone act upon in, but there are plenty of irate fans calling for action in the British Isles.
