It would seem unfair to single out one particular aspect or player in Liverpool's 4-0 evisceration of Bournemouth, but once again it was the pace and precision displayed by Klopp's men in attack which could be considered the most thrilling element at the Vitality Stadium.
As soon as the fixture got underway on the south coast, Jurgen Klopp's plan came to the fore. Liverpool attempted to smother Bournemouth from the off and all the early possession soon led to chances for the Reds.
Philippe Coutinho sent a header flying over the bar before his curling free-kick cannoned off the inside of the post, with Asmir Begovic rooted to the spot as the ball flashed across the face of goal.
Liverpool cranked up the pressure with the Cherries holding on for their dear lives. Coutinho had warned and it was third time lucky for the Brazilian, who picked up the ball on the left flank and ducked inside before sliding the ball into the bottom left corner. Begovic, once again, remained motionless, stunned by Coutinho's magic.
It had been coming for the visitors, who found further spaces in Bournemouth's back line once the deadlock had been broken. Lovren scored a bizarre second goal as Firmino steered the corner back into the six-yard box for the defender to head home.
The game was exactly where Klopp wanted it, but Liverpool did not lift their foot from the gas pedal as they looked to avoid the complacency that ultimately saw points shared in the Merseyside derby. To their credit, Bournemouth never gaver up on their football, and Jermaine Defoe was unlucky not to reduce the deficit when his effort smacked the inside of the post after beating Simon Mignolet.
At the other end, Mohamed Salah's volley from close range was saved by Begovic, but that bit of luck necessary to find the back of the net was certainly on Liverpool's side. The Egyptian, newly crowned African Footballer of the Year, did not miss from inside the area after cutting in from the byline.
Liverpool's irresistible football continued after the break, with Coutinho majestic in midfield and Salah unplayable on the wing. Firmino had already provided one in the first half, and it was his turn to take the spotlight when he steered a header from Coutinho's cross into the net.
It was a brave approach from the Cherries that ultimately signified their demise at the Vitality Stadium, with their efforts to swarm forward in search of a consolation goal granting Liverpool the space to kill the hosts on the break. Oxlade-Chamberlain struck the outside of the post and then sliced an effort well wide in the closing stages, but the midfielder was unable to get his name on the scoresheet.
Three points to move Liverpool back into the top four and another defeat to leave Bournemouth perilously close to the relegation zone, as they sit one point over third-from-bottom Newcastle.
