Krychowiak gets a talking to following a clash with Niang, surely that's his final warning.
  • 56'

  • 46'
Poland get us back underway here and they've made a change at the break, with Southampton's Jan Badnarek replacing centurion Jakub Blasczcykowski. that suggests a shift to five at the back form Adam Nawalka's side.
  • 45'
HT: Poland 0-1 Senegal. thiago Cionek's own goal is the only difference between the two sides at the break. Senegal have arguably looked the more dangerous, with Ismaila Sarr in particular a handful down the right. Sadio Mane hasn't been involved too much but expect that to change as the game becomes more stretched after the break.

GOAL! SENEGAL! CIONEK O.G.! 1-0! Mane feeds Idrissa Gueye 20 yards out and he shoots low, with his effort taking a huge deflection off Cionek to wrongfoot Szczesny and dribble into the back of the net! The Lions of Teranga lead!
  • 36'
Both Sarr and Blasczcykowski require treatment for unconnected knocks, but they both should be able to continue.
  • 33'
Sarr takes a long pass brilliantly on his chest down the right before crossing low, but Cionek is able to scramble the ball away from in front of Mane, before the flag goes up against the Liverpool man as he looks to get on the end of another ball in from the right.
  • 28'
So sloppy. Senegal present the ball to Milik in the middle of the park and he duly returns the favour, despite having three white shirts open in space to aim at.
  • 25'
A good spell of possession for Senegal at the moment here but they are unable to make anything of it.

  • 18'
CHANCE! What a ball this is form Sabaly! He slips Niang in down the channel and he has time and space to measure an effort with his left foot, but he gets it all wrong and drags it well, well wide of the far post. He should be doing better there!

  • 7'

    Confirmation of those lineups:
  • PRVW
No room for Cheikhou Kouyate in the Senegal midfield but there is still plenty of quality in their side. Defender Kalidou Koulibaly was a rock for Napoli as they launched their Serie A title challenge last season, whilst a frontline of Sadio Mane, Mbaye Niang and Mame Biram Diouf offers plenty of pace, power and direct running.
  • PRVW
Senegal: N'diaye; Wague, Koulibaly, Sane, Sabaly; Gueye, N'Diaye; Sarr, Mane, Niang; Diouf.
  • PRVW
Kamil Glik appears to have failed his fitness test on that shoulder injury, with thiago Cionek coming in to partner Michael Pazdan in his absence. Jakub Blazszykowski makes his 100th appearance for his country out side, with Arkadiusz Milik and Robert Lewandowski starting together in attack.
  • PRVW
Poland: Szczesny; Piszczek, Pazdan, Cionek, Rybus; Blaszczykowski, Krychowiak, Zielinski, Grosicki; Milik, Lewandowski.
  • PRVW
Japan have just beaten Colombia 2-1 in the other game in this group, meaning that these two sides need a win to keep pace with Akira Nishino's side at the top of Group H.
  • PRVW
The Senegal fans are already bringing plenty of colour and passion to this one:
  • PRVW
Winger Jakub Blaszczykowski could win his 100th cap today, but he says the team will always be more important: "Each game for Poland is an honour and every player thinks the same way. My individual achievement is not the most important, what is most important is the team. I don't know if I will start, it will depend on the coach's decision and I respect that. We will do everything we can to win."
  • PRVW
Meanwhile, Adam Nawalka also waxed lyrical about Robert Lewandowski: "I believe the scale of his talent is immense but it's supported by a lot of work and a professional attitude. He is one of the best players in the world and Robert sets an example to other players on how to run a career. Robert is an excellent captain and an excellent player."
  • PRVW
Senegal boss Aliou Cisse was full of praise for Sadio Mane during his pre-match press conference: "Sadio Mane is a unique player, he cannot be compared to any others, even if Senegal have had big names before. Everything that has occurred to him in the past two or three years might have changed him but he's exactly the same, he's just as humble as when I met him seven years ago. His behaviour has not changed, his humility towards leaders, his team-mates."
  • PRVW
There is one major doubt for Adam Nawalka's side ahead of this one, with commanding defender Kamil Glik struggling with a shoulder injury.
  • PRVW
Poland will be the favourites to win this one, but they face a stubborn Senegal side first up, with the 'Lions of Teranga' boasting plenty of Premier League experience, particularly in the middle of the park with Cheikhou Kouyate, Idrissa Gueye and Alfred N'Diaye in the side.
