FT: Peru 0-5 Brazil. A comfortable victory here for Brazil, they are through as a group winner and will as a result face a third placed team in the next round. Peru will likely still advance as one of those third placed teams, but it is still possible they could be knocked out in the group stages.

HE'S SAVED IT! Jesus takes the penalty and it's saved by the keeper, it's an irrelevant save, Peru have been thrashed but a good moment to end the game on. for gallese.
  • 92'
PENALTY BRAZIL! Absolutely no doubt about this either, this is shocking from Gallese, Jesus is clear on goal, and he moves it away from the keeper before he is brought down with the ball nowhere near him....

Brazil will head through as group winners, with Venezuela defeating Bolivia, meaning they will go through in second place, Peru will most likely go through as one of the best third placed teams, unless Qatar can somehow shock Argentina tomorrow night....
  • 70'
This game has ended up being incredibly one sided. Peru showed glimpses of what they could do in the opening exchanges but it has since been all Brazil, they have been ruthless and will surely only grow from this into the knockout stages.

The players are coming back out here, Peru's body positions don't exactly seem inspiring, this would be some comeback but Brazil surely will be pushing for more goals here.

HT: Peru 0-3 Brazil. Well what a first half half performance that is from Brazil. They may have been booed previously but they've proved today they're a good side and are rightfully favourites, Peru will still likely go through but that may well now be as one of the best third placed teams.

That's a real miss from Gabriel Jesus! He gets the ball in a great position and does the hard work brilliantly, before hitting his effort high and wide, that could and should have been 4.

Ruidiaz takes his free kick and blasts it over the bar, Peru have plenty of time left in this game, but you feel they're going to need to score sooner rather than later as Brazil look comfortable at the moment.
  • 25'
Filipe Luis and Guerrero have a heated discussion and this game is getting quite feisty, the referee is clearly sick of it and has a strong word with both players after sveral arguments are had.
  • 23'
That was almost three for Brazil! Everton was put clear through before the keeper makes a superb save to deny the winger, Brazil are suddenly looking very very strong indeed.

GOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAALLL! Roberto Firmino makes it 2!!! An awful error from the keeper here as he takes his time when clearing, Firmino blocks it, with the block hitting the post, he runs after said block and calmly fakes past the keeper and slots home with his trademark no look shot, Brazil are in a great position now!

GOOOOOOOOOOAAAALLLLL! Casemiro gets the goal for Brazil from the corner! Whipped in by Coutinho, a first header across goal by Thiago Silva, Marquinhos then heads it into the bar, and then finally Casemiro heads it in! It's dramatic and it's scrappy but it's a goal nonetheless.
  • 9'
Casemiro is booked for a late challenge.
  • 7'
Peru are looking good on the ball so far, with Brazil spending most of the game defending, they've been booed in their first two matches, will it happen again today?
  • 3'
Ruidiaz whips in a superb free kick from the far left hand side of the pitch, which is not dealt with by the Brazilian defence, it ends up going out for a goal kick but it is an early reminder to Brazil of what Peru can do.
