Wood opened the scoring in the first half when Mee flicked on a header from a free-kick which was volleyed into the net at the near post by the forward. Rodriguez then scored an incredible goal in the second half when he fired his shot over De Gea, off the crossbar and into the back of the net. Shaw thought he'd pulled one back right at the end

Dan James cuts in from the left and curls a shot from the edge of the penalty area around the right upright. It’s a decent effort, but Burnley will be happy to restrict United to long range efforts like that all night.
  • 57'
It's a stunning goal from the Burnley native, and Man Utd find themselves losing by two goals at home. Not ideal for Solskjaer's hopes of a top four finish.

HT: Manchester United 0-1 Burnley. The home side created more chances in the first half, with Martial and Mata both having good opportunities to give their side the lead, but mishitting their shots. James came closest when his header was tipped over the crossbar by Pope. But it was Burnley who got the breakthrough when Mee flicked on a free-kick to Wood who sent his shot past De Gea at the near post.
  • 44'
Pereira has switched to the right for the moment and cuts inside to try and get some space. He chooses to go for goal from long range again and drills his low shot towards the bottom-right corner, but it's a comfortable save for Pope.
  • 41'
