Thiago Silva went off in tears earlier when he was injured, but he'll be delighted now. KDB left the pitch with a black eye in the second half and he will surely miss part of the Euros now.

Congratulations to Chelsea. They were the better team over the course of the 90 minutes and they deserved to win, in my opinion. Guardiola's men were poor apart from the back 20 and the decision to start nine of his starting XI against Everton last Sunday in a meaningless game will surely be questioned.

FT: Man C 0-1 Chelsea!!! All over in Porto and Chelsea win the Champions League for the 2nd time!! Man City and Guardiola fall just short!! Kai Havertz's goal just before the interval proved to be the difference. Chelsea were the much better team for the first 70 and even though City picked up in the final 20, it was too late. Aguero was brought on and Mahrez so nearly forced extra-time, but it just went wide.

Mahrez!!!! Walker's throw in is not dealt with and Mahrez's shot goes narrowly wide of the goal!!!

HT: Man City 0-1 Chelsea!! Half-time in Porto and Chelsea lead thanks to a Kai Havertz goal in the 43rd minute. Tuchel's men have been much better so far and could have even scored earlier had it not been for a wasteful Werner. Man City have looked off colour and barring a couple of counters, they've looked poor going forward. Back for more shortly!

I have to admit it's surprising that nine of the City XI started in a meaningless 5-0 win over Everton. Nine did for Chelsea as well, but they had to.

You have to say two things about that. Havertz took his chance, something Havertz hasn't been able to do, while Man C haven't got going at all. Chelsea have played well.

Chelsea take the lead through Havertz!!! A long ball is sent forward to Havertz by Mount, he gets the ball before Ederson, he touches it around the keeper (Ederson gets a touch) and then taps into an empty net!
