That's all from us. We'll leave you with the Chelsea celebrations. Thanks for joining us this evening and see you next Wednesday for England v Austria!

Thiago Silva went off in tears earlier when he was injured, but he'll be delighted now. KDB left the pitch with a black eye in the second half and he will surely miss part of the Euros now.

Congratulations to Chelsea. They were the better team over the course of the 90 minutes and they deserved to win, in my opinion. Guardiola's men were poor apart from the back 20 and the decision to start nine of his starting XI against Everton last Sunday in a meaningless game will surely be questioned.

FT: Man C 0-1 Chelsea!!! All over in Porto and Chelsea win the Champions League for the 2nd time!! Man City and Guardiola fall just short!! Kai Havertz's goal just before the interval proved to be the difference. Chelsea were the much better team for the first 70 and even though City picked up in the final 20, it was too late. Aguero was brought on and Mahrez so nearly forced extra-time, but it just went wide.
  • 96'
Mahrez!!!! Walker's throw in is not dealt with and Mahrez's shot goes narrowly wide of the goal!!!
  • 95'
City are running out of time.
  • 93'
Chelsea get themselves a free-kick and they will waste some time.
  • 92'
City send another ball into the box and it's cleared away.
  • 91'
City have picked up in the last 15-20 minutes, but I feel it's too late.
  • 91'
    Seven added minutes.
  • 90'
City picking up and there's pinball in the box!!! Gundogan's ball into the box sees Mahrez get on the ball and Chelsea clear.

Yellow card

  • 88'
Jesus catches Havertz from behind and is booked. Frustration.
  • 87'
Tuchel is trying to get the Chelsea fans cheering here.
  • 86'
Another long ball into the box sees Aguero try and get on the end of it, but he can't.
  • 85'
Walker's ball into the box is misjudged by James and Aguero's shot is easy for Mendy.
  • 84'
Man City just don't look like scoring here.
  • 82'
Chelsea win a free-kick on this near side, but Jorginho's effort goes well wide.
  • 80'
Chelsea sub: Kovacic on for Mount.
  • 76'
Man City sub: Sterling is replaced by Aguero. Surely he can't score on his City farewell??
  • 74'
Man City are throwing men forward now looking for a leveller!
  • 73'
Pulisic!!! How did he miss that?? Havertz goes forward on the counter for Chelsea, he passes for Pulisic, whose shot is tipped wide of the goal by Ederson! Should've been a corner.
  • 70'
Azpi is down with a knee problem after his knee hits into Jesus', but he can carry on.
  • 68'
Azpi!!! Superb defence by the Spaniard!!! Foden goes into the box, he passes to Mahrez on his right, and his pass in the middle is cut out by Azpi.
  • 67'
Free-kick to City on the far side.
  • 66'
Chelsea sub: Pulisic on for Werner.
  • 64'
Man City sub: Fernandinho on for B Silva.
  • 60'
KDB has a black eye and he can't continue. His left eye looks like that of a boxer.
  • 59'
City sub: Jesus is on for KDB.
  • 57'
KDB is in big trouble here as he's taken a shoulder in the head. He looks dazed and Jesus is coming on.
  • 56'
Nasty collision here between Rudiger and KDB and the Chelsea man has his name taken. There's no concussion subs in the CL. Rudiger's shoulder catches KDB in the head.
  • 55'
Free-kick to Chelsea on the far side.
  • 52'
KDB goes down just outside the box under contact from Kante, but the Chelsea man wins the ball.
  • 49'
Walker's cross into the box is caught by the GK.
  • 47'
Free-kick to City after Sterling is fouled 30 yards from goal.
  • 46'
    Chelsea get us going again!
  • 45'
HT: Man City 0-1 Chelsea!! Half-time in Porto and Chelsea lead thanks to a Kai Havertz goal in the 43rd minute. Tuchel's men have been much better so far and could have even scored earlier had it not been for a wasteful Werner. Man City have looked off colour and barring a couple of counters, they've looked poor going forward. Back for more shortly!
  • 45'
45+1: Chelsea just look sharper to every ball. Sometimes not having the pressure of must win football for a few weeks can play against you.
  • 45'
    Three added minutes.
  • 44'
I have to admit it's surprising that nine of the City XI started in a meaningless 5-0 win over Everton. Nine did for Chelsea as well, but they had to.
  • 44'
You have to say two things about that. Havertz took his chance, something Havertz hasn't been able to do, while Man C haven't got going at all. Chelsea have played well.
  • 43'
Chelsea take the lead through Havertz!!! A long ball is sent forward to Havertz by Mount, he gets the ball before Ederson, he touches it around the keeper (Ederson gets a touch) and then taps into an empty net!
  • 39'
Chelsea sub: Christensen on for T Silva.
  • 39'
Thiago Silva can't carry on and his game is over, sadly. He's in tears as he leaves the park.
  • 35'
T Silva looks he may have a groin issue and is getting treatment.
Card

Yellow card

a Manchester City
  • 34'
Gundogan is booked for a poor challenge on Mount's leg. That was very high.
  • 33'
Very few shots on targets here so far despite there being numerous attacks.
  • 30'
Mahrez so close!!! Walker goes down the far side and cuts back to Mahrez in the middle, but he can't get on the end of it.
  • 29'
Free-kick to Guardiola's men after Chelsea are flagged offside.
  • 27'
What defence by Rudiger!!! Sterling and KDB combine, the Belgian passes to Foden to his right and just as Foden shoots, Rudiger makes a crucial block!
  • 26'
James' free-kick is dealt with by the City defence.
  • 25'
Kante is brought down and Chelsea can put this on into the area.
  • 23'
James' cross into the box is headed away by Stones.
  • 21'
Man City go forward after Sterling passes to KDB and he wins the corner off Azpi, but the flag is correctly up for offside.
  • 19'
Still 0-0 here and little to report in the last few minutes.
  • 16'
Chelsea are doing all the attacking, but they need to be careful not to leave themselves exposed at the back. City have yet to get going.
  • 15'
Werner again!!! The ball is played to him by Mount, I think, and his shot is deflected into the side-netting.
  • 14'
Werner! City lose the ball, Chelsea counter and passes the ball for Werner, but his shot is straighjt at the keeper.
  • 13'
    Chilwell is caught offside.
  • 12'
Werner makes another move down City's left, but it comes to nothing.
  • 11'
Sterling breaks for City on the counter and his square pass sees a defender make a vital interception!
  • 10'
What a chance for Werner as he miskicks Havertz's cutback!!! That was a glaring chance!
  • 8'
Chelsea win a free-kick as the ball is delivered by Foden.
  • 7'
Ederson's sends a long pass to Sterling, who gets past James, but Mendy narrows the angle and he can only win the corner.
  • 6'
Chelsea have started the better so far.
  • 5'
Free-kick to the Sky Blues after Chilwell brings down Mahrez.
  • 4'
Werner attacks down this near side and then gives the ball to Havertz whose pass back is deflected into Ederson's hands.
  • 2'
Werner goes down this near side and sees his cross blocked by Dias for a throw-in.
  • 1'
Free-kick to City in Chelsea's half. The first of the game.
  • 1'
Man City get us going here from right to left!!! Both in their usual kits!
