    Although they started slowly, in the end West Ham thoroughly deserved their first points of the season. 2 first half goals from Andriy Yarmolenko, the second a stunning effort, put them ahead, before Gylfi Sigurdsson rewarded an intense spell of Everton pressure with a fine header just before half-time. The second-half was a calmer affair, with the two teams looking evenly matched until Marco Arnautovic finished off a great West Ham move to kill the game.
