Everton won at Goodison Park against a Leicester side more bothered about their midweek clash with Atletico. A crazy start to the game saw Everton lead at the break with goals from Davies, Lukaku and Jagielka, despite the away team coming back with goals from Slimani and Albrighton. Lukaku's second half goal sealed the victory for the Toffees.

What a crazy first half at Goodison Park. The hosts took the lead within 40 seconds, with a Davies goal, only for the Foxes to turn things around before reaching the tenth minute, with goals from Slimani and Albrighton. Leicester were defending deep and Everton eventually managed to equalise through a Lukaku header, before taking the lead just before the break, thanks to captain Jagielka.
