That's it! What a dramatic second half! Croatia will probably feel as though they deserve that winning goal at the end, as the penalty seemed to be a harsh one to concede. Spain will know they should have been better defensively, and will have a tense wait on Saturday to see what their Nations League fate is.
GOAL!!! CROATIA!!! Jedvaj scores again as he taps home following a De Gea save.
Four added minutes.
Header from a corner for the Croatians, but it's straight at De Gea.
Busquets and Perisic are given cautions, after some pushing and shoving.
Kramaric asks for a penalty, but the referee is having none of it.
GOAL!!!! PENALTY!!!! RAMOS!!!! The Spanish captain steps up to take the kick, and makes no mistake.
Croatia concede a penalty. Handball given.
Spain nearly have the ball in the back of the net, but it's a poor finish from Morata and give the defender the chance to get back on the line.
Rebic is through on goal again, but his shot is saved by De Gea one-on-one.
GOAL!!!!! CROATIA!!!! JEDVAJ!!! The defender gets on the end of a Modric cross, and has a free header at the back post to put his team back in the lead!
Vlasic comes on for Rakitic.
Asensio almost gets a shot on goal, but he's crowsws out before he gets the chance.
Isco has a couple of chances to get a shot away in the box, but by the time he gets the ball out of his feet the shot is blocked.
Iago Aspas leave for Morata to take his place.
After Kalinic stop Isco from prodding in a low cross, Aspas skies the rebound over the post.
Rodrgo is off and Asensio comes on.
Rakitic has a shot on goal, but it fizzes past the post.
GOAL!!!! SPAIN!!!! CEBALLOS!!!! The Real Madrid midfielder gets on the end of a cut-back from Isco, and he wrestles with his defender and turns ut un nicely with his left foot.
GOAL!!!! CROATIA!!!! KRAMARIC!!!! The Croatian striker makes the most of some sloppy play at the back, and is clear though on goal. His composed finish gives De Gea no chance.
Sergi Roberto in a great position to get a cross in to the box, but he isn't able to pick anyone out in the box.
Jordi Alba drives a cross to the back post, but it's easily taken by Kalinic.
We're under way again here, Croatia kicking off.
That's the end of the half. Spain have had their fair share of chances, but have been nowhere near as incisive with their final ball as Enrique would like. Croatia have done well in both resilient defending and quick counter-attacking play. They will feel the happier at the break.
Isco picks the ball up from Vida on the edge of the Croatian box, but he can't do more than earn a corner from his shot. Easy enough save for Kalinic.
Saul tries with a speculative one from range, and it's nowhere near. Spain are getting very frustrated now it seems.
Spain have been building pressure in the lst few minutes, and have been camped in the Croatian half. For all their patient build-up play, they still haven't found a way though.
A good pass from Inigo Martinez and Sergi Roberto, but Aspas commits a foul against the goalkeeper.
Isco with a strong challenege on Vrsaljko.
Sergi Roberto is clattered in to by Rakitic.
Croatia threaten the Spanish box again, but Sergio Ramos manages to scramble it clear.
Another excellent chance for Perisic, who is given the ball on the left following an excellent counter-attacking move. He cuts inside again and has his shot blocked, but Spain will be worried about the threat he's causing.
Lovren seems to elbow Aspas in the box, and the striker goes down in pain. No penalty given.
WHAT A SAVE!!! DE GEA!!! Ivan Perisic makes a dangerous run in to the box and gets a driven shot away on goal. De Gea was unsighted, but manages to get down and tip it on to the post.
An energetic start to the game, with Croatia having a couple of chances to get in behind the Spanish defence.
Spain get us started here!
Perisic fires the ball across the face of the England goal, but Rebic can't get on the end of it.
The atmosphere is building in Zagreb.
Luis Enrique thinks that this will be a one-off game: "I think this game is totally different to the one we played in Elche. It's key for both, and decisive, because they still have chances to go through. It's the first game that will be everything or nothing. If we win, we qualify, and if not, there will be chances for the others. It's a vital game for us."
Zlatko Dalic on his team's chances: "I'm focused on the match, we need the victory. I know that many people do not believe that our team is capable of winning both games but I reply -- we will do now as we did in Russia, step by step. First, Spain."
Spain will line up as follows: De Gea; Sergi Roberto, Íñigo Martínez, Sergio Ramos, Jordi Alba; Busquets, Saúl, Ceballos ; Isco, Rodrigo, Aspas.
Here's how the home side will look: Kalinic; Jedvaj, Vida, Lovren, Vrsaljko; Brozovic, Rakitic, Modric; Perisic, Rebic; Kramaric.
Spain will be confident that they can get a result in this one, after humbling the World Cup finalists in their last Nationa League encounter, that was 6-0 on that occasion.
Croatia will be desperate for a win in this one to keep any shread of hope that they will stay in the competition.
Hello and welcome to this vital Nations League match between Croatia and Spain.
