100'FT: Chelsea 2-2 Manchester United. Wow. A dramatic end here at the Bridge. United looked on course for victory after Anthony Martial's brace, only for Ross Barkley to strike deep into added time and spark ugly scenes on the two benches. Mourinho leaves the pitch gesturing to the crowd with the number three, seemingly in reference to the number of titles he won with the 'Blues'.

-
98'Jose Mourinho has just had to be dragged away from the Chelsea bench by an army of stewards and now the two teams are going at each other! It seems there was a member of the Chelsea coaching staff who celebrated in the Portuguese's face.

-
96'GOAL! CHELSEA! BARKLEY! 2-2! Drama! Azpilicueta swings in a hopeful cross from deep on the right and Luiz meets it with a towering header at the far post. His effort comes back off the woodwork and whilst Rudiger's rebound in denied by De Gea, Barkley arrives on the scene to stroke home the loose ball and level things.
-
94'Hazard blazes over from a narrow angle. That was struck in pure frustration by the Belgian, who has been well shackled today.
-
92'Almost a chance for Giroud as Pedro gets away from his man down the left and crosses low but the striker can neither control the ball nor direct it goalwards and United survive.
-
91'Azpilicueta is teed up by Kante on the edge of the box but blazes over. Everyone is having a crack now!

-
73'GOAL! MANCHESTER UNITED! MARTIAL! 1-2! Well, well, well. Mata beats Luiz to a long ball down the right and takes him out of the game. The ball is worked out to Martial on the left, his touch appears to have let him down but he is able to recover to curl low into the far corner from just inside the box and put United in dreamland!
Substitution
-
69'Maurizio Sarri makes his first change of the game as Ross Barkley comes on for Mateo Kovacic.
Yellow card
-
67'Mata picks up a booking for clattering the ankles of fellow countryman Cesar Azpilicueta after overrunning the ball whilst leading a United counter. you sense there are more goals in this one.
-
66'CHANCE! Willian picks out the perfect ball in to the near post where David Luiz has got across his man, but the Brazilian doesn't get enough on his flicked header and it fades wide of the far post rather than nestling in the far corner.
-
65'Shaw bundles Willian to the ground out on the right and Chelsea will have a chance to get the ball in the mixer.
-
62'Eden Hazard forces a couple of corners down the left but United see them off with the minimal of fuss.
-
58'United have certainly been boosted by that goal as they immediately go on the attack. The home side need to weather the storm here.

-
55'GOAL! MANCHESTER UNITED! MARTIAL! 1-1! Mata sees a fierce volley well kept out by Kepa but Chelsea fail to convincingly clear, with Young's drive deflecting off both Rashford and Jorginho and into the path of Martial to drill home from six yards. Chelsea are complaining that Alonso was down, but United won't care one iota.
-
52'The corner is successfully repelled by United, though they gift the ball straight back to the hosts.
-
51'Luiz waltzes deep into the United half and plays a one-two with Hazard before earning his side a corner. It has been wave after wave of Chelsea attack so far in this second half.
-
49'Hazard fizzes a low effort straight at De Gea at the near post and takes a whack on his ankle from Young in the process. The Manchester United utility man has already been booked, of course.
-
47'CHANCE! Jorgino skips away from a couple of challenges in midfield before feeding Morata on the edge of the box, he does brilliantly to spin his marker and shoot low, but De Gea gets down to his right to make the save! That's arguably the first real opening either side have created in open play.
-
46'United get us back underway for the second half here! Have they got another fightback in them?
-
45'HT: Chelsea 1-0 Manchester United. Antonio Rudiger's header is the difference between the sides at the break. Neither team has created much in open play, with the hosts dominating the possession and looking dangerous on the counter.

-
45'2 minutes added on. It looks like Chelsea will be going in at the break ahead.
-
42'Chelsea are probing as they search for another before the break , but United's defensive wall is doing its job for now.
-
40'Morata tries his luck from range but his effort never looks like troubling De Gea and sails off target.
-
37'Morata isn't happy as he feels he is fouled out on the Chelsea left, only to see the free-kick given against him.
Yellow card
-
34'Great tracking back from Hazard as he chases Rashford deep into his own half before eventually clipping the heels of his man. He's booked for his troubles, but Maurizio Sarri will like what he has just seen.
Yellow card
-
30'Rudiger is in the book now for clattering Pogba in the back of the head with his leading arm. There was no malice in it, but Mike Dean is having none of it.
Yellow card
-
27'Another booking for United. Young is the recipient this time as he comes through the back of (you guessed it) Hazard.
-
Statistics of A. Rüdiger in Premier League3310.03070
-
21'GOAL! CHELSEA! RUDIGER! 1-0! If there was any danger of Paul Pogba getting out of Jose Mourinho's bad books it may have just disappeared forever. The Frenchman completely loses Rudiger from the corner, leaving the German completely unmarked to plant a header into the far corner to open the scoring.
-
20'Kovacic slips Hazard in behind down the left flank and Shaw turns his low cross behind at the far post. Better safe than sorry.
-
16'CHANCE! United swing in a free-kick from out on the right and whilst that is cleared the ball is put back into the mixer from the opposite flank by Shaw. Lukaku rises highest to meet it, but he can't guide his header on target from eight yards. He should be doing better there.
-
15'Chelsea are dominating the possession so far but they're yet to test David de Gea.
Yellow card
-
13'Matic receives the game's first booking for grappling and wrestling Hazard to the ground deep in the Chelsea half after a United move broke down.
-
11'Willian is the man chosen to have a crack, but he leans back and the ball flied high and wide of the far corner.
-
9'Danger. Matic trips Hazard right on the edge of the box after he had exchanged passes with Morata. That was far too easy for the Belgian and the danger hasn't passed yet...
-
8'United take their turn to attack now but Jorginho swoops in to intercept in front of the back four twice in a matter of minutes.
-
5'Azpilicueta crosses from deep on the right in the direction of Morata but Mike Dean blows for a foul by the Chelsea man.
-
3'Eden Hazard's ankles are being snapped at regularly early on here, expect that to be a running theme.
-
2'Juan Mata forces an early corner down the right off fellow Spaniard Marcos Alonso, but the hosts clear with ease at the near post.
-
1'Chelsea get the ball rolling at a sunny Stamford Bridge!

PRVWThe warm-ups are complete here and we're just minutes away from kick-off!

PRVWWarm-ups are underway here:
October 20, 2018
-
PRVWSarri on his team selection: "Kovavic played only the first game over the international break, so I think think he is fresher. I’m very happy with Ross too, Ross has played two matches in four days so for today I thought it was better to play with Kovacic. I don't know what kind of game to expect. In the starting 11, they are very offensive, but we want to follow our philosophy, have possession and be in control of the match. But we want to avoid the counter-attack too."
-
PRVWThere's a landmark appearance for N'Golo Kante today as he plays his 100th game for Chelsea:
October 20, 2018
-
PRVWTwo changes from Chelsea, one of which is somewhat enforced as Mateo Kovacic comes in for Ross Barkley in midfield, with the England man only fit enough for a place on the bench. The other comes as a huge surprise, with Olivier Giroud dropping to the bench to allow Alvaro Morata a start in attack.
-
PRVWChelsea: Kepa; Azpilicueta, David Luiz, Rudiger, Alonso; Jorginho, Kovacic, Kante; Willian, Morata, Hazard. Subs: Caballero, Cahill, Zappacosta, Fabregas, Barkley, Pedro, Giroud.
October 20, 2018
-
PRVWThe visitors make two changes from their last outing as Juan Mata replaces Scott McTominay in the starting lineup following his impressive performance off the bench against Newcastle last time out, whilst Eric Bailly also drops out having been hauled off inside 20 minute sin that one, with victor Lindelof replacing him. It looks like an attacking team from Jose Mourinho, but there is still no room for Alexis Sanchez, who is again made to do with a place on the bench.
-
PRVWManchester United: De Gea; Young, Lindelof, Smalling, Shaw; Matic, Pogba; Rashford, Mata, Martial; Lukaku. Subs: Romero, Bailly, Darmian, Andreas, Ander Herrera, Fred, Sanchez.
October 20, 2018
-
PRVWUnited have lost more Premier League games (18) and conceded more goals (68) against Chelsea than any other club.
-
PRVWThe all-time record may heavily favour United, who have won 74 and lost 53 of the 180 meetings in all competitions, but since 2012 Chelsea have had the bragging rights in this fixture. The 'Blues' have lost just twice in 16 matches against United, although the last of those defeats came in the clubs' previous league meeting in February.
-
PRVWStamford Bridge is looking in great nick ahead of this one:
October 20, 2018
-
PRVWManchester United boss Jose Mourinho: "For me, it is another game. Would I celebrate like crazy my team's goal at Stamford Bridge or my team's victory at Stamford Bridge? I don't think so. I think I would try to control myself and to respect the stadium and the supporters that were my supporters and stadium for many years. I want to do well for my team, players, support. I am 100 percent Manchester United tomorrow - no more space for anything other than respect for the stadium and the fans. "
-
PRVWChelsea boss Maurizio Sarri: "They are a strong team, maybe that player by player they are the best in Premier League. At the moment City is better as a team, but player-by-player they [United] are very strong. I'm very happy with the results but we need to improve, and we can improve because we have had no time to work [together]. In the future we can improve, and we need to. To improve the performance, and in the defensive phase, we're giving too many opportunities to the opponents."
-
PRVWIn Jose Mourinho and Maurizio Sarri we could barely have two more contrasting styles for this one, but with United in need of a strong result as the pressure continues to rise on the Portuguese and Chelsea keen ton remain unbeaten, it seems unlikely to simply be a case of defence v attack.
-
PRVWThe 'Blues' are yet to taste defeat in the Premier League so far this season and sit joint on points with Manchester City and Liverpool at the top of the pile, whilst United are languishing in 8th following an uncertain start to the campaign that has seen them lose three of their opening eight games of the campaign.
