And the players are out on the pitch at the Olympiastadion. Dramatic music plays. The big golden cup glistens in the sunlight. Who doesn't love a cup final? KO not far off.
  • PRVW
The cup is now being held aloft, as a giant flag-version is displayed in the centre of the pitch, alongside crests of both sides.

There are some joggers shuttling flags with the crests of both sides around the pitch in formation. Very athletic.

Today is the last game in charge of their respective clubs for both of the managers on the touchline at the Olympiastadion. For Heynckes, however, it's likely his last ever game in management.
  • PRVW
The main news from the Bayern line-up is that Thomas Muller and David Alaba start. The pair had been doubts prior to the game, but have both reached match fitness in time to play. Manuel Neuer returns to the squad, but he's on the bench. No surprises in the Frankfurt lineup, given that they had a full squad in the lead-up to the final.
  • PRVW
And Frankfurt's XI: Hradecky, Da Costa, Salcedo, Abraham, Willems, Rebic, De Guzman, Hasebe, Mascarell, Wolf, Boateng.
  • PRVW
Here's how Bayern line up today: Ulreich, Kimmich, Sule, Hummels, Alaba, Thiago, Martinez, James, Muller, Lewandowski, Ribery.
