Luis Suarez and Cristiano Ronaldo found the net in the first half, before the hosts saw Sergi Roberto sent off on the stroke of the break after he clashed with Marcelo. Despite having one man fewer than their opponents, Barca battled and took the lead once again through Lionel Messi, only for Gareth Bale to curl home a beauty late on to earn Real Madrid a share of the spoils.

Suarez sends Sergi Roberto galloping away into space down the right and the full-back accepts the invitation to race forward before picking out the perfect cross for Suarez to volley home first time in the middle. A goal of the highest quality, but no reaction from Ernesto Valverde. Suarez now has the same number of league goals as Cristiano Ronaldo this season.
