Luis Suarez insists Barcelona are worthy winners of the La Liga title: "We are the only team that haven't lost yet; we've drawn some games, but not lost. That's down to us and to the coach's hard work. The competition that rewards consistency is La Liga. You have to play well every weekend in order to be the champions. I think that we are worthy winners because of how we've handled the entire year, and the numbers show that we haven't lost a game yet."

The Camp Nou is slowly filling up as we approach kick-off!

Tonight's match is only the fifth time in 58 Real Madrid games this season that the 'BBC' has started together, will they be able to show the near-telepathic link they once shared? Or will there be signs of ring-rust?
  • PRVW
Tonight's big question is of course: Can Real Madrid end Barcelona's record La Liga unbeaten run and prevent them from going a whole season unbeaten?
  • PRVW
The two sides are out warming up here:
  • PRVW
Lionel Messi has already matched a record this evening, as he starts for the 35th clasico in a row, equalling Real Madrid legend Paco Gento.
  • PRVW
Iniesta will make his 38th and final clasico appearance today, can he mark it with his 17th win? The playmaker is one of few players who transcends any rivalry and we're willing to bet that even Real fans will wish him well with the rest of his career... after today, of course.
  • PRVW
A stat that doesn't bode too well for the visitors:
  • PRVW
In case you were wondering and have been living under a rock for the last fortnite, there will be NO guard of honour today, with Rela Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane blaming that on Barcelona failing to respect the tradition previously.
  • PRVW
A couple of curveballs form the visitors, Isco is not included in the 18 after his recent shoulder problem, whilst Nacho and Raphael Varane return at the back. Gareth Bale is handed a rare start as the 'BBC' starts together.
  • PRVW
No surprises form Barcelona then as they name the seam team that started their Copa del Rey final victory over Sevilla, with one exception as Marc-Andre Ter Stegen returns between the sticks.
  • PRVW
Real Madrid: Navas; Nacho, Ramos, Varane, Marcelo; Casemiro, Kroos, Modric; Bale, Benzema, Ronaldo. Subs: Casilla, Vallejo, Theo, Lucas V., Asensio, Kovacic, Ceballos.

Real Madrid have won 95 clasico encounters to Barcelona's 93, whilst the visitors will become the first team to score 400 clasico goals if they get on the scoresheet today.

Hello and welcome! This one needs no introduction as we prepare for our second league 'Clásico' of the season. Plenty at stake today as Real Madrid look to end their arch-rivals' long unbeaten streak, whilst the hosts look to demonstrate just why they are La Liga champions.
