FT: Barcelona 2-1 Arsenal. Luis Suarez has won the Joan Gamper trophy for Barcelona with a goal worthy to win any match. Arsenal defended brilliantly throughout large spells of the encounter as Aubameyang broke the deadlock with a fine finish. A comical howler from Maitland-Niles allowed Barca back into the game before Suarez netted a brilliant volley with just a minute of normal time left.

A few subs for Arsenal now. Triple change for Arsenal as Aubameyang, Xhaka and Sokratis make way for Torreira, Mustafi and Nketiah.

A dangerous cross is sent in by Wague and it flashes across the face of goal which eventually has to be put out by Maitland-Niles. Cross comes to nothing.

Martinelli should've scored! Saka gets down the left and sends in another brilliant cross which finds the Brazilian on the centre spot. He leaps into the air, Van Persie-esk like, and volleys it towards goal. It just goes past the post and hits the advertising boards. He'll be disappointed to have not hit the target from there.

Alex Collado replaces Antoine Griezmann. Not the impact he would have liked, but he played some decent football.

Lenglet is booked for his foul on Ceballos.

Ceballos goes down after a challenge by Lenglet. He looks to be in quite a bit of pain.

So close to making it 2-1 to Barcelona! Luis Suarez charges into the penalty area while turning Arsenal defenders in and out. As he approaches the goal, Leno comes out to close him down and Suarez can only lift it over him and into the side net.

Just when it seemed Arsenal had weathered the storm, a disastrous own goal undermines their cause. Arsenal break up a Barcelona attack and Ainsley Maitland-Niles looks to play a simple pass back to Leno, but the Gunners stopper is charging off his line and the right-back's back pass ends up in the back of the net, despite Sokratis' best efforts to keep it out.

Wague, who's only been on the pitch a few minutes, goes into the match official's book for a late challenge.

Two other subs for Barça. Moussa Wagué replaces Nélson Semedo, and Juan Miranda replaces Jordi Alba.

It's all Barcelona at the moment as Chambers blocks two Griezmann shots inside the area.

This wasn't it either! Aleña with an amazing shot from outside the box, but it's kept out by the Arsenal goalkeeper. Griezmann looks frustrated.

Griezmann gets to the byline, but his cross is headed away under the posts by an Arsenal defender as Dembele waited at the back... Barcelona looking very dangerous now. Any minute now.

Dembele shoots but it's too wide. Barcelona are getting closer to scoring a goal of their own. Arsenal are resolutely defending but the Catalan giants are starting to find the cracks in the Gunners' back-line.

Cause for concern on the Arsenal bench as Willock is caught by Rafinha in midfield and stays down until play is stopped. He gets back to his feet, hobbles off the field but is back once play resumes.

Arsenal also makes a few changes. Guendouzi comes on for Reiss Nelson while Kolasinac replaces Monreal. Barcelona have had pretty much all of the possession as we speak.

Ter Stegen replaces the debutant Neto in goal while Pique comes off Lenglet. Umtiti, De Jong, Rakitic, Puig and Perez also make way for Todibo, Busquets, Alena, Roberto and Rafinha.

Second half underway!

HT: Barcelona 0-1 Arsenal. Barcelona have certainly looked like the better side so far but look vulnerable when defending. Whenever Arsenal attack, they really look like scoring whereas Barca are struggling to unlock this tight and compact defence. Emery has set his men to sit back and absorb all the pressure but it remains to be seen whether they can hold out for the full 90. Griezmann is a standout performer here. Encouraging for the Frenchman. See you in 15 min!

Griezmann had it! The Frenchman almost opens the score and finds forgiveness from Barça fans, but he is caught offside by the referees. Rakitic with some super skill, beats an Arsenal player and slides through a ball for Griezmann.

"Messi, Messi," the home fans chant. It seems, if the official team sheet and subs list is correct, that the Argentine will not be playing any part today, though...

Amazing control of the ball and finish from outside the goalkeeper's box awards Arsenal the first goal of the game. He is assisted by Mesut Ozil, who was looking very dangerous these past 10 minutes. He sizes up his man before working it onto his right foot and smashing it past Neto in net. Brilliant goal to give Arsenal the lead.

Ozil is dropping very deep at times to look for spaces and Arsenal look good on the attack...

Corner for Barça.

A string of chances for Barcelona between the 29th and 30th minute.ordi Alba cuts in from the left and hits a powerful shot from the edge of the box, but it's straight at Leno. A minute later a great run by Semedo also proves dangerous. Dembele sends a low cross into the box from the right and it hits Griezmann's legs. The ball goes back to Ousmane, but he can't keep it in play...

GOOD CHANCE! Arsenal have their first chance at goal in a while but Reiss Nelson's right footed shot from the left side of the box is blocked. Assisted by Nacho Monreal.

Riqui Puig fizzes a low shot towards goal from outside the box, but Bernd Leno saves it quite comfortably.

ordi Alba becomes the first player to be booked in this pre-season friendly. Referee Juan Martínez Munuera didn't hesitate to go straight to his pocket for that challenge.

Semedo makes an impressive run towards the Arsenal box after a pass from Rakitic, but them Dembele loses control of the ball before he can shoot towards the net. Griezmann, just a few feet away, looked more than ready to do the job... Maybe a goal would help him with redemption in the eyes of Barça fans?

Barça definitely looking like the more dangerous side right now, but Arsenal is not looking lost either. Decent performances from both teams until now considering this is still a preseason match.

Twinkle toes from Girezmann in the Arsenal area as he shifts the ball away from two defenders before playing the ball off to Rakitic on the edge of the box, but the Croatia's low drive flashes well wide of goal. That should act as a warning to Arsenal, though, Griezmann is steadily growing into this game.

Nelson Semedo races down the right, is pushed out by Nacho Monreal but continues his run and gets back on the ball. Riqui Puig then shows some lovely skills in midfield, but his attempted through-pass to the Portuguese is cut out on the edge of the box...

Arsenal are camped in their own half at the moment. Barcelona enjoying a lot more of the possession and most of the play is sent through Dembele, who looks like a real threat whenever he is on the ball. The Frenchman sends a clever ball into the box but Griezmann can't get on the end of it.

Lightning pace from Dembele as he knocks the ball past Monreal down the right flank but, to the Spaniard's credit, he recovers well, forcing the Barca winger to play the ball inside where Willock clears Arsenal lines.

Arsenal has it's first shot at goal when Aubameyang tries it from the midline, but the ball bounces back on a Barça player's back and no real danger occurs. A lively start from the Gunner.
