Marcelo seems to have left his injury firmly behind him. Zidane chose not to force his return against Atletico and the Brazilian could return for the match against Brugge, with Real needing to win after they opened their Champions League campaign with a defeat to PSG.
The only players missing from Real's last training session were the injured Ferland Mendy and Marco Asensio. Zidane led a group of 25 players, which included Isco, who has also returned after recovering from his muscle injury.
Zidane will also have Sergio Ramos and Nach Fernández, as they have both served the bans that they picked up last year.
Rodrygo trained with the first team in a good atmosphere session with the start being open to the public, and the session ending with it being closed-door as Zidane finished introducing the changes he will make to his starting XI for the match against Brugge.
