'AS' reports that Bayern Munich's Robert Lewandowski, Manchester City's Raheem Sterling and Tottenham Hotspur's Harry Kane are Real Madrid's alternatives to Kylian Mbappé. PSG, for the moment, are not facilitating the striker's exit in the current transfer window and the Real Madrid board may have to opt for other ways to strengthen their squad.

The problem in all three cases is financial. 'AS' offers the details, which are based on an apparent desire on the part of the Pole to leave Bayern Munich. The 'Sky Blue', who is much younger, would require a deal of involving a significant amount of money, although the same would happen with the Frenchman if everything ends up being resolved in favour of the Spanish club.

Regarding Harry Kane it is important to remember that, at the end of last season in the Premier League, he stood alone on the pitch and applauded the stands in what looked like a farewell. If it really was goodbye then Real Madrid is, as they have done on a number of occasions in the past, an attractive and ambitious destination for him.

Who is Ancelotti currently counting on?

A quick look at Carlo Ancelotti's attacking players is enough to see what he has in his squad for next season. Jovic, Benzema and Mariano are the main options up front. This already ended last season with Luka on loan to Eintracht, as it did with Borja Mayoral, who is still out of the equation because his loan, to Roma, was for two years.

The general outlook is certainly discouraging for a coach who has to revive the hunger and the advances for titles at Madrid.
