Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski is set to win his 100th cap for Poland on Monday as they face Portugal at the Silesian Stadium, Chorzow.

Poland captain Robert Lewandowski is just one appearance away from reaching 100 caps for his country.

The 30-year-old has an impressive record for Poland, scoring 55 goals in 99 games for Poland, ranked eighth in the world.

Lewandowski is only three appearances off equalling Michał Żewłakow's total of 102 games, which is a national record.

It is expected that Lewandowski will reach the landmark during tonight's UEFA Nations League clash against Portugal.

The six-time Bundesliga winner told Bayern Munich's website about his pride pride ahead of his 100th appearance for Poland.

"I never dreamed of playing so many games for the team and becoming Poland's all-time top goalscorer.

As well as being his nation's top goalscorer, Lewandowski has 18 assists since making his debut on 10 September 2008.
