It happens almost every summer. Robert Lewandowski becomes front-page news for asking for improvements to a Bayern that has not been strengthened in recent campaigns.
While Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has said that they are waiting for a big transfer to trigger everything, Bayern has only signed Lucas and Pavard as of July 17.
Robert Lewandowski spoke to 'Sport Bild' and asked his team for more: "Bayern haven't made a big signing in two years. Things have already been done, but we need more."
At the moment, with Bayern's casualties, the Bavarian team has only 17 men from the first team for the tour, which is scarce for both Kovac and the Polish attacker.
"Everyone knows it's not good that we have so few players in the team at the moment. We need more to train properly," continued the Pole.
Lewandowski concluded by stating he misses Ribery and Robben and asking for signings at their posts: "Two or three players are missing. It's mainly about the outer positions, where we lost two world-class players such as Robben and Ribery."
