Two of the stars of the Bavarian outfit showed they did not need too many chances to put their names on the scoresheet. With three minutes on the clock, Bayern took the lead and then in the 33rd minute, it was 2-0 in a game which Bayern Munich won 6-0.
Lewandowski was given the honours of scoring the first goal. The Polish striker, Bayern's recognised finisher, took advantage of a cross launched in by Alaba into the middle of the six yard box to divert the ball into the goal with his foot. Just half an hour afterwards, it was James Rodriguez's turn, who scored a typical Bayern goal. Although his future at the end of the season is unknown, the Colombian is still at the top of his game.
The ex-Real Madrid man took advantage of an assist by Goretzka, who controlled an aerial ball down with his chest, to hit a low shot across the goalkeeper from inside the box.
