After finding out about the situation of the seasonal workers in Lleida, Balde decided to give them a hand and book two hotels for up to 80 people.
In a chat with 'AS', the Monaco player admitted the problems he has had all this time. "Let us help without putting bumps in the road."
"It's sad, but all sorts happens when we were giving them homes, sending them clothes or food. We are not stopping and we are now sorting out the accommodation. If you don't want to help, that's fine, but let others help," he added.
Balde revealed his reaction when he found out. "When I saw it, I cried. I don't even remember the last time I cried, but that day I did."
Lastly, the former Lazio player talked about how slow it is to get the paperwork completed. "The premises will be rented out and we are going to renovate them. Clean, put in beds and we even have a builder who will make more showers, but burocracy is slow," he concluded.
