Leny Yoro injury not thought to be serious, says Amorim

Leny Yoro started in the center of the back three alongside Noussair Mazraoui and Luke Shaw, but had to be substituted in the 52nd minute of Manchester United's penultimate home game of the season.

The young defender left the field visibly affected, generating concern among the coaching staff and fans. United manager Ruben Amorim, showed his frustration at the situation, especially with the Europa League final just ten days away and Tottenham as opponents in Bilbao.

However, Amorim offered a reassuring message at the post-match press conference. "We have to assess Leny in a better way tomorrow [Monday]," claimed Amorim in the press conference. "Yoro felt something but I think it could be a small thing," he added.

In a separate interview with Sky Sports, Amorim reiterated that there is no reason to fear the worst. "He had that problem at the beginning of the season," said the United coach.

"We hope it's not too serious. I don't want to say too much but maybe it's not a big deal." The club is therefore confident that the player will be able to recover in time for the most important European event of the year.
