Leila Ouahabi is the embodiment of Barcelona Femenino. The Spanish international player joined the Catalan club when she was just 13 years old and was trained at La Masia. She worked her way up through the different categories until she reached the first team in 2011.
After winning two league titles and two Copas de la Reina in her first two years as a Barça player, in 2013 she decided to move to Valencia in order to play a more important role than at Barça.
In Valencia, she got the starting role she so desired and became one of the regulars in the call-ups of the Spanish National Team. When she returned to Barça in 2016, she did as one of the great protagonists of the team.
Since then, she has not moved from the club of her love, with which she has accumulated three La Liga titles, five Copas de la Reina, one Spanish Super Cup and one Champions League. But this summer she could leave the club again.
'Mundo Deportivo' highlights the number of offers on the table that the winger has, as her contract expires next summer. One is from Barcelona themselves, who want to renew their player, a benchmark in the team, but the aforementioned media outlet reports that Leila wants to look for pastures new.
It seems that Chelsea could be Leila's chosen destination for next season. However, it is difficult to imagine that any player would want to leave the reigning European champions.
