Leicester City's players and manager Claude Puel have arrived in Thailand to attend the funeral of the late club chairman Vichai Srivaddhanaprahba.
Saturday marked the first day of a week long funeral for the businessman, who was the owner of the midlands football club, and the players and staff wanted to show their respects, by travelling to attend the service in his native Thailand.
The Leicester players will be attending services on Sunday and Monday before returning to England on Tuesday morning.
Srivaddhanaprahba's funeral began on Saturday, with Buddhist bathing rituals, which are due to be followed by recitation ceremonies.
In an emotional day for the players and staff of Leicester City, the team secured a 1-0 victory away to Cardiff City on Saturday, with the match being proceeded and followed by heartfelt tributes to the club's owner, who tragically died alongside four others merely one week before.
The only goal of the game was scored by winger Demarai Gray, who after scoring revealed a shirt with the words 'For Khun Vichai', as means of dedicating his goal to the departed chairman.
The entire Leicester team celebrated the goal together, keeper Kasper Schemeichel ran the length of the pitch to join his teammates in front of their celebrating fans in the far corner of the stadium in Cardiff.
Srivaddhanaprahba's tragic passing has left a gaping hole in the middle of not only the football club, but the city of Leicester, and although the victory on Saturday was welcome, it continues to be a tough time for all connected to the tragedy.
