Having joined the 'Foxes' at the beginning of last season from Hull City, the centre-back was a fairly unknown figure as far as Premier League players can be.
His rise was astronomical last season as he managed to gain his first England cap in March, and then had an excellent World Cup in Russia including scoring a goal against Sweden in the quarter-finals of the competition.
Having returned home from the tournament, he is now a lot more widely-known, and his club manager thinks the team need to help him deal with the pressure that comes with that.
"It is crazy. It is the first time for him and he has to manage this attention and to keep a good focus and concentration. It is a new experience for him" Claude Puel said.
"He is a young player, a fantastic player, but he is a human. He is learning how to deal with it. It is very tough what has happened around him and to manage this for the first time is very difficult but I am happy he is working for the team.
"Myself and the club sometimes have to protect him and help him with all this attention around him."
