Leicester City have made an £8 million offer for Nice midfielder Nampalys Mendy, according to The Mirror.
The player is thought to be a replacement for N'Golo Kante who is expected to leave the club this summer, having been a crucial player for the Foxes during their incredible 2015/16 campaign.
Mendy, 23, who has also been eyed up Arsenal and Manchester United, was on Claudio Ranieri's shortlist last summer, but is expected to be a priority this time around.
Nice have put a £12 million price tag on the players head, although it is believed that the club would let him go for as little as £8 million.
Is he a good enough replacement for the outgoing France international?
