Leeds United have got down to work to strenghen their squad in the first few days of the January transfer window. Leeds have got hold of the services of central defender Max Wober.
The Austrian defender joins from Red Bull Salzburg, where he has played more than 20 games this season. He also scored two goals and provided three assists in those matches.
Wober, who will wear the number 39 shirt if he gets his work permit, will sign a four and a half year contract at the club until June 2027.
Current Leeds manager Jesse Marsch knows Wober well because he signed him for Salzburg from Sevilla and made Wober the club's most expensive signing.
