Leeds rule out signing Guedes

Guedes will not play for Leeds United this season 2022-23. The Portuguese player has been ruled out by the English board in an interview with 'Radio Marca'.

"Guedes to Leeds is just clickbait. I have never spoken to Guedes, his agent or Valencia about this. There is absolutely nothing at all," explained Victor Orta.

Leeds United have sold Raphinha and Kalvin Phillips for a large sum of money, but they have also strengthened significantly ahead of a new season in the Premier League.

"We have invested the same as we have sold, although it is true that we have signed seven players and sold two stars," added Victor Orta.

In the meantime, Valencia have yet to sell their key players in order to make money. Gaya, Soler and Guedes are still part of Gennaro Gattuso's squad.
