The Real Sociedad player has extended his contract at the Basque club by two years until 2022 to ·"keep on growing" as a footballer just like the club itself.
The 23 year-old defender made his first team debut this season and has nailed down a starting spot under Imanol Alguacil. This year, he has played 28 matches including La Liga and Copa del Rey.
Le Normand was very proud to have extended his contract at Real Sociedad since it is what "he wanted" and now he is hoping "to repay" the club for the confidence they have shown in him by giving him a long term contract.
The French player also told the club's website that this contract renewal is down to "lots of work behind the scenes with teammates and coaching staff" who have helped him "to grow", as well as seeming convinced that "he is on the right path and having a good time at Sociedad."
Le Normand's goal is the same as the club's. They want to get into Europe and he said that the group "will give everything to try and get it," as well as calling this season "super exciting."
