“My goal is correctly disallowed; being a referee is very complicated”

Barcelona midfielder Fermin Lopez admitted that the goal he scored in stoppage time in his team's 4-3 win over Real Madrid was “well disallowed” by the referee.
“The truth is that I hadn't realised that I had touched it with my hand, but it was a handball and it was well disallowed,” he admitted after watching the replay at the end of the match.
Although he was unable to celebrate his birthday with a goal -he turned 22 on Sunday-, Fermin played down the final outcome of the play: “It was a very nice goal, but nothing happens. The important thing is that we won." The 'Cules' player believes that the refereeing, in other parts of the game, was not correct, since “there are decisions that could be reviewed”, although he said that they are “used to it” and also pointed out that “being a referee is very complicated”.
Fermin highlighted his team's reaction after the elimination against Inter in the semifinals of the Champions League: “The other day was a hard blow. We were very excited about reaching the final, but it wasn't to be. Today, we overcame it, we didn't give up until the end and we won”.
