Daniele Rugani is on Lazio's agenda. They are looking for defenders in the transfer window and the Juventus player is the man they want, 'SportMediaset' says. 

As he was not playing much at Juve, he moved to Rennes on loan. But he has yet to make his mark there. He has made just two appearances. 

At 26, the defender has become less important as seasons have gone by. He shone at Empoli in the 2013-14 and 2014-15 seasons before going to Juventus. He made 81 appearances and scored five goals. In Turin, he made 26 appearances in the 2017-18. but he never made more appearances than that in a season. He made 101 appearances in five years. 

Therefore, Lazio want to get the central defender who looked to have a bright future. They also think he can help push Lazio up the table. After finishing in the top four last season, they are seventh this term and they are looking to strengthen their defence. 

For Ruggani to move to Lazio, Juve will have to end his loan spell at Rennes early and then negotiate with Lazio. With just over a week left of the transfer window, time is against them.
