Congolese footballer Omenuke Mfulu has renewed his contract with UD Las Palmas for two seasons, until 30th June 2025, the La Liga SmartBank club announced on Tuesday.
The midfielder, a Republic of Congo international, joined the Canarian side in August 2021 after finishing his contract with Elche, whom he joined in 2019 after previous spells with Lille, Stade Reims and Red Star FC.
On 22nd December, in the Copa del Rey match against La Nucia, Mfulu made 50 official appearances for UD Las Palmas, and in the current league season he has made 19 appearances, 18 of them as a starter, in which he has received five yellow cards and one red card.
The 28-year-old Mfulu has become an essential part of Garcia Pimienta's plans, and his continuity in the Spanish club project joins that of French midfielder Enzo Loiodice, who was recently renewed until 2025.
