Kylian Mbappe's PSG contract ends in June 2022. If he does not renew, he will become a free agent and he will be able to move elsewhere for free. Everything seems to indicate that this will be Real Madrid.
But Joan Laporta has other plans. According to Mario Torrejon, the Barcelona president has commented on more than one occasion that he is also working to bring Mbappe to the Camp Nou.
"Laporta has been saying to his small committee that, if he has the possibility, he is going to get Mbappe off Real Madrid," the journalist told programme 'El Larguero.'
However, the radio programme does not think that Mbappe can sign for Barcelona. "It's part of Laporta's fantasy... just like the return of Messi," he said.
At Real Madrid, in the meantime, they are working to be able to fulfil the dream of seeing Mbappe playing in white. That is what Real Madrid president Florentino Perez said abut the attacker. "Now you offer 200 million for a player and they don't sell him to you."
