Lampard doesn't want to speak about Kai Havetz. He gets asked questions about him every now and then, but the Chelsea manager wants to be focussed on the players that are in his team. He already made clear that they haven't made offers for the forward and, in the pre-match press conference for the Liverpool match, it was brought up again.
"I don't want to talk about Havertz, he's a footballer from another team. I'm just thinking about the next game, which is very important for Chelsea's future. The last thing I want to do is talk about players who aren't ours", the manager affirmed to the journalists.
And he's right about the fact that his team have a lot at stake. They have qualified for the FA Cup final and will face the Reds in the league to continue fighting for the Champions League zone. Leicester and Manchester United are hot on their heels.
But, as much as he doesn't want to speak about Havertz, reports continue to surface and the latest one is juicy. Chelsea could have already made an 80 million euro offer between a fixed sum and add-ons to secure his services as soon as possible.
