Lamine Yamal replaced the injured Raphinha in the 42nd minute of Barcelona's 2-0 win over Osasuna in their Spanish Super Cup semi-final. The Spanish winger put the icing on the cake by extending the 'Cules' lead in stoppage time.
With this goal, the 16-year-old became the youngest player to score in this competition. Elsehwere, the Spain international was also the youngest player to take part in the competition.
As well as the Spanish Super Cup, Lamine Yamal holds a number of other precocious records, including the youngest goalscorer (and assister) in La Liga, the youngest goalscorer for the Spanish national team, the youngest goaslcorer in an EURO qualifier and the youngest player to provide an assist in a Champions League match.
The 'Cules' youngster, after making his debut for Barcelona at the end of last season, has made 19 official appearances for Xavi Hernandez's side this season so far, seven of them as a starter, scoring one goal.
