Lamine Yamal voted best young player of August in La Liga

Lamine Yamal has been proclaimed the best young player -under 23- of August in La Liga. This has been confirmed by the Spanish top flight, who already gave the best coach award to Hansi Flick

"Lamine Yamal was voted best Under 23 player of La Liga EA Sports in August. The winger has been one of the key players in a good month for Barcelona, who are at the top of the table after a winning start to the season, with one goal and four assists," said La Liga.

The young winger has become the main attraction of the competition. At just 17 years of age, he won the European Championship with Spain and has continued his great form.

Lamine Yamal beat Atletico Madrid's Pablo Barrios, Getafe's Christantus Uche, Valladolid's Raul Moro and Espanyol's Alejo Veliz in the final vote.
