Arsenal secured their spot in the semi-finals on Thursday night with a 6-3 victory on aggregate over hosts CSKA Moscow. Despite a shaky first-half, a stoppage time goal from Aaron Ramsey sent the 'Gunners' through.
Winning the Europa League title would guarantee Arsenal a spot in the Champions League next season, and is increasingly becoming their only route to the elite competition.
In addition to improving their reputation, a European title would be highly beneficial in Arsene Wenger's campaign to retain his job, having been with the North London club for 22 years.
Forward Lacazette said: ''It [winning the Europa League] can be the way to keep the manager because he did so much good for the club. We want to win trophies.''
The 26-year-old added: ''It will save our season because in the Premier League we are not doing well. Winning a cup would be good.''
Arsenal will have to progress past tournament favourites Atletico in the semi-final before they can turn their attention to the claiming the trophy.
