La Liga scandal: Rayo Vallecano fan sticks his finger into Lucas Ocampos

Lucas Ocampos was the victim of a repudiatory act in Vallecas. The Sevilla player, who was about to take a throw-in after 33 minutes, had to stop short because he felt someone stick their finger up his arse.

The Argentine turned around and reproached this action to a young fan who was the author of the act, as captured by the broadcasting cameras. Next to the fan, several people laughed while others did not understand what had happened.

The Sevilla No.5 went to the position of Hernandez Maeso, who took note of what had happened and alerted Rayo's on-field delegate. After an interruption of several seconds, the referee indicated that play should resume.

As reported by 'COPE', a member of the 'Franjirrojo' club's security told that the young fan only received a reprimand, as at the start of the second half he was in his front row seat as if nothing had happened.

Sevilla's Lucas Ocampos criticised the action of a Rayo fan, who stuck a finger up his arse when he was about to take a throw-in, and called on the competition to take action after what happened: "Hopefully La Liga will take this seriously, as they do with racism. There's always a fool. I hope it doesn't happen again because if it happens in women's football, we know what can happen.

"I held back because I have two daughters but let's hope that La Liga retaliates and that a fool doesn't tarnish the Rayo fans," added the Argentine, speaking to 'DAZN'.

Sevilla, with two goals from Moroccan En-Nesyri, took the win in Vallecas against Rayo (1-2). "It was a very demanding match, very complicated, on a pitch that is always difficult. I'm happy for the win and for getting three points that we needed", he concluded.
