The CTA met with Medina Cantalejo, president of the refereeing body, and Clos Gomez, director of the VAR project, at the head to analyse the publication of the video refereeing audios. The RFEF has announced it through its social networks and the First and Second Division referees have been present.
Luis Medina Cantalejo defined this initiative as "something interesting, nothing extraordinary, but it is positive so that everyone knows how we work, regardless of whether or not they agree with the decisions taken".
Carlos Clos Gomez said: "We have seen that the average is 3 per day, an average higher than the previous one. The fear that the referees would think about whether to call or not in case of doubt has not been fulfilled. They are more comfortable than in the first matches. We are going to keep working because there is a path of progress".
This initiative has caused some doubts among journalists and football fans. In addition, the leaks of VAR audios, which were brought to light by 'Jijantes' and for which the CTA filed a complaint, have been a hard blow for this group.
