With the domestic competition over, five La Liga teams will be hoping a Spanish side wins the Champions League or Europa League.
The Spanish clubs have dominated the European tournaments this century, especially in the last decade, but last year the English sides took over.
However, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atletico, Sevilla and Getafe want to show this August that the 2018-19 season was an exception.
Since 2010, Spanish sides have won a total of six Champions Leagues and as many Europa Leagues. A total of 12 titles split across four teams. And four Spanish sides are still left in the competition this season.
Real Madrid managed to win the Champions League in 2014, 2016, 2017 and 2018 while Barca, their biggest rivals, won it in 2011 and 2015.
When it comes to the Europa League, Atleti won it in 2010, 2012 and 2017 while Sevilla did the same in 2014, 2015 and 2016.
A long list of trophies which Spanish sides hope to increase in the coming days. Portugal and Germany will be the places where they hope to make it happen.
