La Liga games to have minute of silence for Maradona
La Liga president Javier Tebas has confirmed that a minute's silence will be held before all games in the top two divisions of Spanish Football this weekend in memory of Diego Maradona. The Argentina legend passed away on Wednesday.
The Spanish president released a statement saying:

"The minute's silence belongs to him because he played in our league, he was one of the best players in the world and he deserves a tribute from us.".
"Those of us who are fans from that era and are passionate about football cannot help but remember goals and plays that Maradona made in Spanish football", he added.
