Kroos the passing king: five consecutive seasons with +1900 completed passes

If there is a player that comes to mind alongside the word "precision" then it is Toni Kroos. The Madrid midfielder made clear in both Germany and Spain that he is a marksman of the ball. Whether it's shooting or passing, he's practically unbeatable.
The latest study from ProFootballDB focuses on the latter and demonstrates his quality. It turns out that he is the only player from La Liga that has gone five seasons in a row making more than 1900 completed passes. His accuracy percentage has never fallen below 91.87%.
But not only has he gone these five seasons making at least 1900 completed passes, but he is also improving his precision. In 2015-16 it was 93.47% (2277/2436); in 2016-17 it was 91,87% (1910/2079); in 2017-18 it was 92,6% (1927/2081), in 2018-19 it was 92,97% (1932/2078), and in 2019-20 it was 93,17% (2182/2342).
These data provide a clear conclusion: Kroos' accuracy is not fading over time. The 30-year-old barrier is often used to mark the beginning of a player's decline, but the German has just reached that point and is his most accurate and highest-scoring version in five seasons.
